Larissa Waters is presently the full-time Owner/Artist behind the brand re:mused studio. Our botanical-inspired stationery and gifts offer a unique and coordinating approach to a range of products from double-sided gift wrap and greeting cards to notepads and tea towels. Blending hand drawn illustrations with watercolors and gouache, our pattern collections and designs are influenced by nature's palette and rooted in a love of historical styles like William Morris’ Arts & Crafts and Liberty London’s ditsy florals, making them timeless and elevated additions to shops of all sizes and licensing collaborations across industries.

Stare. It is the way to educate your eye, and more. Stare, pry, listen, eavesdrop. Die knowing something. You are not here long.

A Woman in Mens Wear

Over a decade of makin’ ‘em look good.

There are some fabulously compelling and in-depth case studies of the work I’ve directed over the years that at some point I will share here. But in the meantime, here some visual tidbits of some of what occupied my time to keep it interesting until then. (Feel free to message me for info on the talented crew I’ve worked with in front and behind camera on these images.)

The Pandemic Pivot

Q: How do you quickly shift from a location-based lifestyle photography campaign approach and a high-low promotional strategy when the world shuts down, so does your budget and the majority of your workforce, and you have to meet your customer where they’re at with each new development each and every day? A: With a sense of humor, a truly collaborative mindset, a bit of scrappy know-how from the early days, and a determination to make it work.
